Doctor:
My experience with the doctor herself was generally positive. She was professional during appointments and did help me with my condition.
Office Service:
Unfortunately, the service provided by her office is extremely poor.
• It is almost impossible to reach the office by phone. Most calls go directly to voicemail.
• They rarely return calls. I tried to reach them for about a month without success.
• When I had an issue with my medication refill, the staff did not investigate the problem.
• Initially, they kept telling me the medication would be available without checking the actual situation.
• When I explained that pharmacies did not have the medication, they said a nurse would contact me. The nurse never called back and I was never able to reach her.
• On another call, when I again explained the medication shortage, the staff simply repeated that it would be available and ended the call.
Result:
Because of this lack of communication and follow-up, I have now been without my medication for three months.
Conclusion:
While the doctor herself was helpful, the office management and communication are extremely unprofessional. For this reason, I have decided to change my neurologist.

Dr. Kogan has been my doctor for 3 years. She is Caring compassionate & listen to my concerns. Her staffs are great & professional. Office is very clean & location on hillside Ave is fantastic & easy to find she has weekends slots as well.

My first experience with Dr. Kogan was good. The only problem I had was getting a EEG on my head (brain). This was the first time for me. It was a bit messy but it was okay.
